PROJECT MANAGER & ESTIMATOR
While earning his bachelor's degree in Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago, Mike was
employed at the Village of Bolingbrook in their Engineering and Inspection Department.
After graduating, he worked for RJN Environmental where he was a project inspector for the I-88 resurfacing project.
Shortly after, he took a position with Neumann Homes in their Land Development Department as a Project Engineer. His
responsibilities there gave him knowledge and experience in land development and field operations. Soon after, he became a
project manager where he was in charge of numerous projects and staff.
In May of 2001, Mike came on board with PirTano Construction. His administrative and field knowledge along with his
municipal and developer project experience proved to be a valuable asset for PirTano.
As a Project Manager/Estimator his responsibilities include estimating projects, contract documents and customer
management, as well as being a liaison between engineers and municipalities or other governing agencies. The ability to handle
various tasks at once is a prerequisite which Mike has shown to be capable of managing.
Whether Mike is taking on a special project such as a waste water treatment system or fulfilling the role of General Contractor
for an entire project, Mike's attitude of "let's get it done" is instrumental to our team.
