PirTano Construction Company was selected as one of the core contractors to help build the Del Webb
community after a thorough contractor qualification process. This community is as impressive today as when it was first built in the mid 1990’s.
Del Webb Signature Developments were first built in the Sun Belt of America and have been noted as first class developers of Active Adult
communities. From their grand entrances of flowing aquascapes and over-the-top landscapes to its’ top-of-the-line Club House and Senior Activities
Center to its prestigious Whisper Creek Golf Course, the Huntley property has truly been a benchmark for Active Adult Communities in the Chicago
area and across the nation.
At this site PirTano Construction Company built the sewer and water infrastructure systems, along with golf cart underpasses, a Con Span Bridge (which at the time was the
largest Con Span Bridge in Illinois) and the golf drainage system. PirTano Construction Company built over 1 mile of the large diameter interceptor sewer system along Sun
City Boulevard. The interceptor lines flowed to the waste water facility in the northwest corner of this pristine 1200 acre site and then the reclaimed water was piped back
to spray-irrigate the golf course.
